“Y’all know the story behind that? The official story. We have a lot of low hanging things on set. For instance, the trailers, when the awning comes out, the little hitch - some of us are tall and we’ll run head first into them. And so in order to remind ourselves not to run into things, ‘cause often times we’re going inside like reading lines, we start hanging ducks. So we’d see them and think, “duck!” And so as the amount of places grew that we needed to duck but the ducks were not multiplying as real ducks do, which I’ll explain later, we needed more ducks. We didn’t need that many ducks! I think we needed like three more ducks, now there’s a small duck army.”

Jason Isaacs: I remember my very first day, I improvised a line. I had my first day, probably my first shot, I had to kind of flounce out of a room when Dumbledore, played by the late, great Richard Harris, put me in my place, and there was no line written, no exit line. And I’d been humiliated, and my plan had come to nothing. And I said to Chris Columbus, “Don’t you think there should be a line?” And he said, “Well, say something. Say whatever you like.” So we did another take, and I hadn’t told anyone what I was going to do. And as I turned to leave, I looked at Daniel, and I said, “Let us hope Mr. Potter will always be around to save the day.” And then Daniel, who was all of 12, stepped right up to me, looked me right in the eye, and said “Don’t worry. I will be.” A chill went down my spine. And as he did it, I thought, “Christ, this kid is good.”
This is the part in the Harry Potter issue of Entertainment Weekly, when Jason tells this story, that I started to cry.
One of the most iconic lines in the whole of the series was improvised. By a 12-year-old boy.

I am your king.I think that Crowley was never once in his existence appreciated. His son betrayed him (though we don’t know the reason why they hated each other), they call him names behind his back, they hunt him down for not serving Lucifer and having his own will and plans, they don’t accept him as their king. See, none of the demons respected him, they were not loyal to him - they feared him, and in order to survive they obeyed. Crowley worked his way up from the salesman to the King of Hell, and yet nobody paid him respect. The sad thing is, they never even wanted him as their king. They didn’t notice he was kidnapped. They didn’t come to save him when he called, none of them. Abbadon was the only one to show up, her only intention to kill him and become Queen of Hell. I’m not trying to shove him in the role of a victim, I know what he is and what he’s done.
I just think that beside the desire for love in his human heart, he pursued acknowledgement. And it makes me sick at heart that he’s never received neither.
